End of the Night Music Suggestions
Of course, here in Scotland, it’s hard to get away with not finishing off with Runrig - Loch Lomond. However, if you really don’t want to finish off with it, I have some alternatives:
One suggestion would be to play Loch Lomond anyway as the “last song”, but arrange for an ‘encore’ with your DJ. Once Loch Lomond has finished, encourage your guests to chant for one more song! Of course this will be pre-determined by us beforehand & it allows you to finish your Wedding Reception with a song of your choice!
I have a list of ‘end of night’ songs that I’ve used in the past, or that I’ll use for other occasions where Loch Lomond may not be appropriate (such as a corporate/charity event).
